Synopsis: Maria and Gustav meet eachother during the EU-summit in Gothenburg Sweden, the summer of 2001. They are there to demonstrate for justice and democracy. When the police storms in to the school were they had permission to sleep ( Hvitfeldska Gymnasiet), it turns out that Gustav is an undercover police. Maria gets arrested and beated by the police and Gustav does not interfiere. Tva years later they meet again outside the court room. How will it end this time? NAME AND NUMBER, PLEASE is a raw film about the traumatic events that changed many peoples life. Not only police and demonstrants.

Directors Comentary/Statement:
To ”Never give up the fight” is a topic that facinates me. And to make a film about people that deals with a political issue was a struggle, a fight. I wanted to give another perspective to this national swedish trauma called ”The Gothenburg Riots”.

Gorki Glaser-Muller

Born in Chile in 1973. Came to Sweden at age 14. Worked as an actor before beginning studies at The school of Acting at the Malmo Academy, Lunds University. After more acting work, he recently graduated in film directing at The School of Film Directing, Gothenburg University. At the same time he continues working as an actor in TV series and films. As “Skeppsholmen” 2003, “Kommer du med mig da?” 2003 ”Bomsai” and “Extra Allt” 2004. Coming up in 2005 is ”Haktet”. All of them at the National Swedish Television SVT.
