THE
GERMAN FILM SCHOOL is a university for digital production that is located
near Berlin. In three years maximum, the certified course “Digital Artist”
will provide students with the necessary theory and technical know-how:
from classical cartoons via 3D animation and digital compositing to
generating virtual worlds. After four months of training in the 2D sector,
the students will produce their first animated cartoon in teams within
a period of only six weeks time. The cartoon “The Beauty Of Life” that
is screened at the 2. ISFFA Balchik is an example of such work. After
the third semester they deliver a 3D short film done with the software
“Maya” (for example “Danse de Cable” and “Kong and Bird”). During the
fourth semester, students will produce a commercial and a music clip,
shorts like that will be shown at a special screening. A jointly realised
promotion film in 3D will follow during the 5th semester and the diploma
film during the 6th semester. On the whole, students will contribute
to a total of nine short films during those three years. If you wish
further information please visit www.filmschool.de.
or feel free to ask Markus Koerle, University Management GERMAN FILM
SCHOOL, or Moritz Bunk, student of the 6th semester GERMAN FILM SCHOOL,
who will participate the 2. ISFFA. |
