For interpretation of the social-political situation, personal relationships, and atmosphere of complex film narration.

4. Best Documentary Award

Taralezhkov’s Bourgas by Dimitar taralezhkov, NBU

For being sincere, bright, bizarre, ironic ,witty, actual, and free in reflecting of present-day Bulgarian voice-overs.

5. Best Animation Award

Brand Spanking by John-Paul Harney, National Film & TV School, Great Britain

For its clarity, anarchistic humour and usage of world of commercials that rejects.

6. Best Film Directing Award

Norma Nebot for Anna, a segment of Senses, London Film School, Great Britain

For the elegant sensitivity of the tone of our time.


7. Best Cinematography Award


Charlotte Bruus Christensen for I, Spider, National Film & TV School, Great Britain
and
Vadim Deev for Poputchki Inzhira (Fellow Travellers of the Fig), VGIĘ, Russia

For representation of two different trends in film expressiveness.

– Charlotte Bruus Christensen in I, Spider – for the virtuous command of the camera both as a real observer and virtual constructor.

– Vadim Deev in Fellow Travellers Of The Fig – for gentle and attentive observation of the intimate experience of the characters
