Henner Winckler, born 1969, studied film at the Creative Art College (HfG Offenbach) between 1990 and 1993, and between 1994 and 1998 at Hamburg Fine Art College (HfbK Hamburg). In 1998 he attained a diploma in film/visual communication. He lives in Berlin and works as a writer and director. Since 2004 he works as a assistent teacher at the Filmschool Potsdam-Babelsberg (HFF „Konrad Wolf“).
